Let’s kick this party off with a celebration of all the things you love to do. Not negotiating plans with other people or defaulting to someone else’s suggestion…if you could take yourself anywhere with a extra hour of free time — where is the first place you would go? If you were to have a cozy night at home, how do you enjoy your own company when you’re not in a social media induced rabbit hole?
This first episode celebrates the impact of intentionally setting aside the time for yourself. Tune in as I reflect on my first ever intentional date night with myself (that just so happened to be on Valentines Day back in 2017) and share one of my favorite strategies for curating your own date that is oh-so-specific to you and your personal brand of joy. There’s no one else to please here except yourself ;)
I hope you enjoy this first episode! Happy Valentines Day my friend.
With Love,
J
P.S. Don’t know what it is you like to do? That’s okay — I feel you. As a recovering people pleaser I’ve had many melt downs about not knowing how to use my free time when it arrives. The strategy I mentioned above is designed to help you rediscover all the things YOU like to do. I’ve used this short exercise with myself and dozens of coaching clients over the years. I hope you’ll give it a try and let me know what came up for you in the comments!
